Description

ATTO-labeled f(ab) fragments belong to the new generation of fluorescent antibodies, characterized by their exceptional fluorescence intensity and superior photostability. Anti-Rabbit IgG f(ab)-ATTO647N is specifically suited for high resolution micoscopy, due to the high photostabilty and strong fluorescence quantum yield.

Conjugates of F(ab) fragments are preferable to whole antibody conjugates:

- for cellular structures which are sterically difficult to access;
- prevention of interactions with Fc receptor-bearing membranes due to the absence of the Fc region in  f(ab) fragments;
