Product name
Polyclonal anti-CapZ
Target species
Avian, mammalian skeletal muscle and non-muscle CapZ
Description
Polyclonal anti CapZ is directed against whole native CapZ protein from chicken skeletal muscle and reacts with muscle and non-muscle CapZ of avian and mammalian tissues. In immunoblots anti-CapZ reacts specifically with α and β CapZ subunits on SDS myofibril samples, but reacts stronger with the β-SU.
Immunofluorescence detection on chicken myofibrils shows a specific Z-band staining, identical with α-actinin in epifluorescence microscopy.
