~37.5kDa
Protein description
The VCA-domains of members of the Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome family protein, like WAVE (WASP family verprolin homologous) activate in vitro the nucleation ability of Arp 2/3, which is itself a constitutively inactive complex.
The recombinant VCA-domain is supplied as GST-tagged peptide (~35 kDa) expressed in E. coli, purified on GST-Sepharose further column purified by gel filtration.
Actin interaction
Activator of theArp 2/3 protein complex (Cat. #: 8413-01).
